The Los Angeles Rams come off a run-heavy game where they decided to let CJ Anderson and Todd Gurley take over for a 30-22 win against the Cowboys to get to the NFC Championship game. It wasn’t as easy for the New Orleans Saints, who had to rally from down fourteen against Nick Foles and the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles to eke out a win on a last-minute interception just to host this NFC Championship Game. This game will kick off championship weekend and will be played at 3:05 ET on FOX.
A week defined by blowouts. There were 4 games on the slate for this week, all at home and the Denver Nuggets went 3-1. Key performances came from Jamal Murray, Malik Beasley, and Paul Millsap brought huge lifts to the team. The MVP of the week, however, has to go to none other than Nikola Jokic. He averaged 23.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game. Here is your recap of each game from this week.
The Los Angeles Rams are one win away from making it to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2001. Due in large part to the two-headed running attack they recently acquired. The Rams backfield was formerly a one-man band in Todd Gurley who shouldered much of the rushing responsibilities. However, a lot of changed when they signed C.J. Anderson going into Week 16.
The shortstop has some of best talent around for 2019, tied with the outfield position with five average first round picks. Let’s take a glance. If you would like to see the positions I have already covered you can find them here: Starting Pitchers | First Base | Second Base

The Boston Celtics defeated the Toronto Raptors who are the #1 seed in the East Conference on Wednesday night. The chemistry looked great all around, there was a lot of ball movement and less isolation basketball. Gordon Hayward is slowly becoming more consistent with his play, he dropped 18 points along with five assists and Kyrie Irving ran the show with 27 points and a career-high 18 assists.
The Bengals started off the regular season 4-1 and seemed ready to make a playoff run. However, before you knew it they picked up five straight losses and lost seven out of their last eight, ending the season with a 16-13 loss at Pittsburgh and 6-10 record to finish out of the playoff picture for the third straight year.
On February 8th, 2008, the Seattle Mariners pulled the trigger on a deal with the Baltimore Orioles to acquire Erik Bedard, a southpaw who finished 5th in the 2007 Cy Young voting. By all accounts, it was a good move for a Mariners franchise which was looking to end a long playoff drought. The price Seattle paid – pitching prospects Kam Mickolio and Chris Tillman, along with reliever George Sherrill and a young Adam Jones – seemed reasonable. That was 11 years ago. That trade is now considered one of the best in Orioles history, vice-versa for the Mariners.
Credit that to Adam Jones.
If the New England Patriots want to earn their third straight trip to the Super Bowl, it’s going to have
