Zach Plesac Set to Return for Indians

The new ace of the Indians is back and ready to rock.

Cleveland traded away Mike Clevinger on Monday, making Zach Plesac even more depended on.

Plesac is set to make his long-awaited return from the COVID-19 list. On Aug. 8, Plesac went out and broke COVID-19 protocol, prompting the team to place him on the list and demote him to the alternate training site.

On the year, Plesac was dealing prior to the mishap, pitching over six innings in all three starts. He compiled a video game-like stat with a 24-to-two walk-to-strikeout ratio over 21 innings. He also recorded over five strikeouts in every single start this season.

Plesac is going to absolutely dominate the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday and could go the distance. He is the new ace of this Indians pitching staff; he knows it and we know it. Watch him thrive, as long as he doesn’t break COVID-19 protocol again.
