Three weeks of the NFL have passed in a flash. If you’ve been monitoring your fantasy team at all, it’s likely your bench is full of injured and/or underperforming players. Here is some fantasy football waiver wire adds and drops for Week 4 that could help save your fantasy season.

Adds:

Justin Jefferson | WR, Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings offense struggled in Weeks 1 and 2, but now a rookie might’ve just answered some of their issues. Jefferson was a stud at LSU and was the 22nd overall pick in this year’s draft. He exploded for 175 yards on seven catches and found the end zone in their loss to the Tennessee Titans. The defense is their worst in recent memory, so Jefferson could see plenty of targets as the No. 2 receiver for a team that could be trailing a lot this season. He will make a great FLEX or bye week option.

Myles Gaskin | RB, Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins are in the middle of the pack in rushing this year, but Gaskin has earned the bulk of the carries. He had 22 attempts on Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He’s averaging four yards per carry in 2020 and is becoming an option in the passing game, with 15 catches so far. If you’ve been hit hard by injuries this year, Gaskin will be a reliable option for you week-in and week-out.

Brandon Aiyuk | WR, San Francisco 49ers

Yes, another rookie wide receiver cracks the list this week. There’s a reason many believe the 2020 wide receiver class was hyped up. Aiyuk offers the 49ers a dynamic playmaker in the midst of an offense that is decimated with injuries. Whether it’s Jimmy Garoppolo or Nick Mullens throwing him the football, he will continue growing and making plays. He had five catches last week and three rushes, so Kyle Shanahan is showing that he has a role in this offense moving forward.

Mo Alie-Cox | TE, Indianapolis Colts

Alie-Cox was seen as an injury replacement in Week 2 with the absence of Jack Doyle. But Doyle returned in Week 3 and Alie-Cox was still heavily targeted by Philip Rivers. His frame allows him to make plays in the red zone, so he always has a scoring ability. He’s also dynamic enough to be a third-down security blanket, which means he will continue to see more targets. Alie-Cox will finish as a top-10 tight end this year.

Drops:

Austin Hooper | TE, Cleveland Browns

The on-the-field relationship between Hooper and the Browns hasn’t panned out. He’s only been targeted 10 times by Baker Mayfield. He does have seven catches, but he’s not making big plays and hasn’t been a threat in the red zone. There are better options out there in 10 or 12 man leagues.

Daniel Jones | QB, New York Giants

Staying on this list for a second consecutive week. No one expected Jones to be a top-10 quarterback this year. But, he’s still rostered in 48 percent of ESPN fantasy leagues. This team is struggling to protect him, and the loss of Saquon Barkley is only going to hinder the success of Jones moving forward. He’s not worth rostering this season, find a different quarterback to be your bye-week fill-in.

Jordan Howard | RB, Miami Dolphins

As mentioned above, Gaskin is the main back in the Dolphins offense, leaving Howard with fewer opportunities. He has 16 carries this year and zero catches, so he’s only on the field in limited run-only situations. He’s only averaging 0.8 yards per rush, so his carries will continue to decrease.
