Best Bet # 1: Raheem Mostert OVER 47.5 Rushing Yards (+100)
Few teams in football have been more dangerous, elusive, and dynamic than the Miami Dolphins in 2022. Enter Raheem Mostert.
After being the Dolphins’ number-one choice out of the backfield last week, holding a 61% snap rate, Mostert is in line for another big evening tonight against the Chargers. As a team, Los Angeles ranks 29th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game, which should be music to the ears of Dolphins fans and prospective bettors tuning into Sunday Night Football. After being held to just 30 yards last week against a stingy San Francisco 49ers team, Mostert should be chomping at the bit to bounce back in this one. Additionally, at plus money (+100), this one seems like a no-brainer. Take Mostert over 47.5 rushing yards.
Best Bet # 2: Best Bet # 2: Same-Game Parlay (+243)
- Under 55 Total Points (-110)
- Dolphins -3.0 (-125)
How about some parlay action (at +243) to spice up our SNF viewing pleasure? Let’s start with the line.
Although many experts predict a high-octane/high-scoring affair between these two teams, I’m inclined to side with the under on such a high line (55.0). With Miami’s offense at the focal point, and Justin Herbert needing to go punch-for-punch just to keep pace, I have a sneaky feeling we’ll see more stops than anticipated. Miami will also look to run the ball and deploy the likes of Mostert and Jeffrey Wilson Jr throughout the night. In addition, this line has continued to rise throughout the week (from 53 to 53.5 and finally to 55), and I’ll gladly take a few extra points before locking in my bet. So don’t overthink this one – side with the under.
Now onto the Dolphins at -3.0. Miami comes into this game looking to avenge their loss last week against the 49ers. They’ll also look to keep pace with the AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills (10-3), who were victorious earlier in the day. I see Miami setting an early tone on offense and getting more stops than expected on defense. All in all, this is a talented, balanced, and well-coached football team who should bounce back and pick up a W on the road in L.A. I’m all in on the Dolphins in this one. Take the fish at -3.0.
