Week 12 Preview: Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots

Can we just fast forward to Dec. 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers please?

The New England Patriots will play just its second AFC East Divisional game this year, which is somewhat surprising when you consider how late it is in the season.

Ironically enough however, the Miami Dolphins (4-6) may be better off without Jay Cutler, who is sidelined with a concussion due to the fact that backup Matt Moore may simply be a better quarterback at this stage given his mobility as well as rapport with wide receivers.

The one concerning issue that the Patriots (8-2) have to be worried about is keeping Tom Brady upright, especially with center David Andrews out, against cheap shot artists such as defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and linebacker Kiko Alonso. Suh earlier this week was quoted that his main goal was to hit quarterback Tom Brady.

“It’s our job up front to really get after (Brady) and make him feel uncomfortable,” Suh said to reporters in Miami, via WEEI.com. “I know that’s one of my particular goals in this particular week – touch him as much as I can, hit him as much as I can, push his own lineman into him as much as I can and go from there.”

The secondary will also be tested quite a bit against the likes of DeVante Parker, Jarvis Landry, and Kenny Stills.

There is no way the Patriots should lose this one, even with wide receiver Chris Hogan and tight end Martellus Bennett unable to play.
