Week 12 of the NFL season has arrived.

Best Bet No. 1: Brandin Cooks Longest Reception OVER 17.5 Yards (-110)

Dak Prescott loves CeeDee Lamb, but he has also shown a tendency to find Cooks for big plays downfield. In what could be an offensive shootout, look for the Dallas quarterback to revisit this veteran connection on Thursday afternoon. Cooks has hit the “over” on this line in three of his last four games, and now he gets rewarded with a matchup versus Washington’s secondary, which ranks as the NFL’s worst by many top metrics.

Best Bet No. 2: Sam Howell OVER 0.5 Interceptions (-180)

Given that Sam Howell leads the league in interceptions and is averaging 1.1 picks per game, this feels like a safe bet. Meanwhile, the Dallas defense has forced 11 interceptions this year, which is the fourth-most in football. What else could you possibly ask for? Sure, the odds aren’t incredibly juicy, but you’re practically printing free money with this prop.

Best Bet No. 3: Tony Pollard UNDER 16.5 Rushing Attempts (-130)

Lock this one in before the line adjusts. The Cowboys have shown a tendency to give fewer carries to Pollard, especially in games where they take an early lead and can afford to pivot to Rico Dowdle. In fact, Pollard has not eclipsed 16.5 attempts since Week 3 against Arizona back in September. He proves his worth by catching passes or breaking off big runs, not by handling dozens upon dozens of carries per game. I really like the “under” here, as well as most “over” props pertaining to Rico Dowdle’s volume.
