Boston Celtics’ forward Guerschon Yabusele had to be helped to the locker room in the final quarter of action during the teams’ blowout victory against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night.

Yabusele suffered the injury when he landed awkwardly trying to defend a Shaquille Harrison layup.

Although Yabusele doesn’t normally play significant minutes, he has become a fan favorite over his two years in Boston. Luckily for Celtics fans, the gruesome injury did not result in a broken ankle.

Prime Time Sports Talk will continue bringing you updates on how long the 6-foot-8 forward is expected to be sidelined as the specific details of his injury become public.
