Torey Krug Is Slowly but Surely Finding His Game

There’s no denying that Bruins defenseman Torey Krug has had a rough start to the season. Between suffering a non-displaced fracture to his jaw in the preseason and losing his typical pairing partner Adam McQuaid (even though they weren’t playing fantastic together), Krug has struggled to find his game and sense of play.

But once his modified fishbowl helmet came off and Krug’s confidence started to rebuild itself, he’s seemed to find the rhythm of the B’s youth-dominated gameplay.

“[It felt] really good. The peripheral vision was better and overall, I just felt more comfortable [without the protective gear].” Krug said after the Bruins’ 2-1 win over the Las Vegas Golden Knights where he managed two assists. “I just want to feel good out there…breaking pucks out, feel comfortable with my game. Those little [offense-heavy] streaks, they’ll come when you feel good about your game.”

We’re just all happy Krug is back and spinning with Pasta
