After a huge day yesterday in securing franchise quarterback Ryan Tannehill to a four-year deal, the Tennessee Titans are back at it. They are trying to keep their AFC Championship team intact and have done so by placing their franchise tag on stud running back Derrick Henry.

There was some speculation that the Titans may use the tag on tackle Jack Conklin but it appears they will let him hit the open market Wednesday.
Drafted in the second round of the 2016 draft by Tennessee, Henry never got the hype that he should have received. Because he was behind Ezekiel Elliott in the draft, Henry was overlooked.
At 6-foot-3 and 247 pounds, it’s pretty hard to get overlooked. For what it’s worth, his 2019 will never be overlooked. He led the league with 1,540 rushing yards and scored 16 touchdowns on 303 rushes. He also added 18 receptions for 206 yards and two touchdowns through the air for good measure.
Henry was selected to the Pro Bowl for the first time this past season and is a former Heisman winner.
