After a two-day hiatus, the NFL returns to primetime on Thursday evening as the San Francisco 49ers (9-4) travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks (7-6). And with that comes some best bets sure to win you some hard-earned cash.

Without further ado, let’s dive in and meet our plays, shall we?

Best Bet No. 1: Christian McCaffrey Over 79.5 Rushing Yards (-110)

After averaging 8.5 yards per carry last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Christian McCaffrey will once again be a key focal point in the 49ers’ offensive scheme. With or without quarterback Brock Purdy, who is listed as questionable, I fully expect the Niners to run the ball early and often against the Seahawks. For one, Seattle ranks 30th in rushing touchdowns allowed and 30th in rushing yards allowed. The Seahawks’ defense, which has been prone to struggles against the run this season, will have their hands full on TNF with the likes of Christian McCaffrey and even Jordan Mason out of the backfield.

To add insult to injury, Seattle’s defense alone is likely to invite a ton of running plays, especially after last week when they allowed two 70-yard rushers in a surprising loss to the Carolina Panthers. I really like this prop bet and value for a 49ers team that will likely call a lot of rushing plays all night long. Take the over on McCaffrey’s 79.5-yard prop.

Best Bet No. 2: Under 43.5 Points (-110)

I locked in this bet early, and since then, the line has slightly dropped to 43.0. Although the 49ers have been riding high as of late and are running away with the NFC West, now is the time to fade them.

In Week 2, the 49ers had their way with Seattle, defeating them by a score of 27-7. Tonight, the Seahawks should be much better prepared and will face a San Francisco team decimated by injuries all over the field. Although both teams possess top-10 offenses, I think we’ll see more defensive stops than usual from Pete Carroll and Kyle Shanahan’s men. This game has all the makings of a divisional classic that may come right down to the wire. In what’s projected to be a fairly low-scoring contest, I’d ride with the under.

Best Bet No. 3: Seahawks +3.5 (-115)

The Seahawks are in a bit of a tailspin as of late, having dropped three of their past four games. Be that as it may, Seattle has been one of the best surprises in the NFL this season. If there was ever a time for a statement win of epic proportions, a victory over their divisional foes would certainly do the trick.

Coming into Thursday night, Seattle will want to avenge an abysmal home loss to the Carolina Panthers and keep pace in what’s shaping up to be a very competitive NFC playoff picture. The 49ers also enter this game with a slew of injuries, including star Deebo Samuel. I’m more than confident the Seahawks can cover the spread and keep it close all game long. Heck, they may even be able to pull out a win. This is shaping up to be one heck of a football game. Lock in Seattle at +3.5.
