Week 6 is officially upon us and Thursday Night brings us an NFC matchup featuring the defending champs as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will head into Philadelphia to face the Eagles. Both teams are coming off wins in Week 5 and will look to carry that momentum into this game. Let’s take a look at the top DFS players in this game.

DraftKings Captain

Leonard Fournette (DK 7,800 | FD 11,000)

The Buccaneers are going to lean on their rushing attack in this game because Tom Brady is still nursing a thumb injury. Fournette is the guy in their backfield and they have made that clear with how they have used him and Ronald Jones. In the last two games, Fournette had 32 carries and 10 targets compared to Jones, who only had 11 carries. If they get up in this game, Fournette will get plenty of work and have himself a very good fantasy game.

FanDuel MVP

Jalen Hurts (DK 11,800 | FD 15,500)

The Eagles are most likely going to be trailing by the second half in this game. Hurts is not the best quarterback but his rushing gives him great fantasy upside. In the second half, Hurts should start to rack up the fantasy points. He has scored over 20 fantasy points in every game this season. The Buccaneer’s secondary is banged up and should be vulnerable again. Look for him to score in the 20-30 fantasy point range again this week.

Flex Plays

Miles Sanders (DK 6,600 | FD 10,000)

This may seem odd considering the Buccaneers have one of the better run defenses in the league. However, his ownership should be low and the Eagles are going to need to attempt to get the run game going to have a chance in this game. If they get pass-happy, the Buccaneers pass rushers will feast. If they do abandon the run he also brings value in the passing attack. He brought in five receptions last week, even though he only had six receiving yards. That is huge considering Kenneth Gainwell only had one reception. Furthermore, Sanders played a season-high 75 percent of snaps. Look for him to get enough volume and have one of his best games of the season in tonight’s game.

Chris Godwin (DK 14,100 | FD 13,000)

Last week was the Mike Evans and Antonio Brown show. This week it’s Godwin’s turn. The Eagles corners are very good on the outside especially Darius Slay who has been very good this season. That will force Brady to look Godwin’s way in the slot. Brady also has that thumb injury so he will rely more on short and intermediate passes. Godwin is due for a big week.
