Thanksgiving Day Special NFL DFS

All six teams playing on Thanksgiving are all coming off of a loss Sunday. The first game will, as always, feature the Detroit Lions, they will be hosting the Chicago Bears. That game will be followed by the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Las Vegas Raiders. The nightcap will be the New Orleans Saints hosting the Buffalo Bills. Let’s take a look at the top players that will help you win some money to spend on Black Friday.

Quarterback

Dak Prescott (DK 6,900 | FD 8,200)

The quarterback position is scarce on this slate. With three backup quarterbacks potentially starting, it will be worth paying up for Prescott. Furthermore, Prescott has been excellent in his last two Thanksgiving games. In those two games, he threw for 644 passing yards and five total touchdowns. He’s coming off his worst fantasy game of the season so look for him to get back on track Thursday.

Running Backs

David Montgomery (DK 6,000 | FD 7,500)

Andy Dalton will be the Bear’s starting quarterback this week. With the Bear’s offense banged up, they are going to lean on Montgomery in this game. Especially since he had his best game of the season against this poor Lions’ run defense. Montgomery went for 106 yards and two touchdowns against the Lions in Week 4. He has a great chance to have a repeat performance this week.

Josh Jacobs (DK 5,900 | FD 6,700)

Derek Carr is struggling and a huge part of the struggles are they don’t have many offensive weapons outside of Darren Waller. Jacobs needs to get the ball more if the Raiders want any chance to win this game. The good news for Jacobs, the Cowboys have allowed five rushing touchdowns in their last six games. However, Jacobs hasn’t scored a touchdown in his last three games. That is going to change in this game. Look for Jacobs to find the end zone at least once.

Wide Receivers

Darnell Mooney (DK 5,700 | FD 6,800)

If Allen Robinson is still out tomorrow, then Mooney is a lock. He saw a crazy high target share in Sunday’s game without Robinson. Although, he was only able to turn 16 targets into five catches. However, volume is king and as long as Mooney gets peppered with targets he will put up some points. Keep an eye on Robinson’s status for Thursday’s game. If he’s able to go pivot to Robinson with Dalton at quarterback.

Cole Beasley (DK 4,500 | FD 5,700)

Beasley has been banged up with a rib injury the last couple of games. However, the Saints have struggled against slot receivers this season. They have allowed good games to Chris Godwin, Kendrick Bourne, and Kadarius Toney. All three receivers play a good amount from the slot. The Bills’ offense needs to bounce back after Sunday’s miserable performance. Beasley will be a big part of that operating out of the slot.

Tight End

Dalton Schultz (DK 5,300 | FD 6,000)

Schultz is the biggest beneficiary of Amari Cooper being out with Covid-19. He saw eight targets turning those into six receptions for 53 yards Sunday without Cooper. This week he gets another good matchup. The Raiders defense has allowed tight ends to score six touchdowns in their last seven games. Look for Schultz to find the end zone in this game.

Defense

Bears D/ST (DK 3,000 | FD 5,000)

The Bears’ defense is banged up and missing their best player in Khalil Mack. However, they still were able to put up a season-high six sacks thanks to Robert Quinn on Sunday. The Lions’ offense is also not good, especially if Tim Boyle gets the start at quarterback. Boyle threw two interceptions on Sunday and would undoubtedly throw some more Thursday. Lock the Bears defense in your lineups.
