Boston University is still in search of its first win on the young season after an 85-66 loss to UConn on the road Sunday.

Final

1 2 T
BU (0-3) 31 35 66
CONN (3-0) 39 46 85

Down 28-26 with 3:50 remaining in the first half after a pair of Eric Johnson free throws, the Terriers were victim of an 11-5 Huskies run to end the first half – which proved too big of a hole to climb out of.

UConn went on to outscore BU, 46-35, in the second half en route to the win.

The Terriers were outrebounded 52-32 in the loss.

Cerdic Hankerson was the BU high-scorer with 20 points and Nick Havener chipped in 16.

The Terriers visit Maine (0-4) on Wednesday with tip set for 2 p.m.
