Only a few hours after agreeing to terms with quarterback Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a rookie with the No. 33 overall pick in this year’s draft.
Tee Higgins put pen to paper at Paul Brown Stadium on Tuesday. The deal is for four years and $8.6 million, although the value of his signing bonus has yet to be released.

Higgins, a standout wide receiver from Clemson who finished the 2019 season with 59 catches for 1,167 yards and 13 touchdowns, was the last of the Bengals’ draft picks to sign. He joins a stacked wide receiver core that includes one of his idols in A.J. Green and will wear No. 85 just as Bengals greats Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and Isaac Curtis (among others) did before him.

The deal is still pending a final physical, and Cincinnati hopes to acclimate the rookies to the facilities and hold some meetings before strength and conditioning workouts are expected to get underway on Monday, Aug. 3.
