More retailers have removed Washington Redskins merchandise from their online stores. Target and Walmart are the latest to remove the merchandise, according to Connor Smith of Barrons.

Walmart has said that it will discontinue the sale of items that feature the team’s name and logo. Target has removed the team’s merchandise from its website.

“We are in the process of removing the items from our assortment,” Target said in a statement on Monday.

The team name is still on Dick’s Sporting Goods NFL fan shop page. However clicking the link will take you to the main NFL fan shop page. Nike has also pulled Washington merchandise from their online store.

The removal of merchandise comes after letters signed by 87 investment firms and shareholders urged Nike, FedEx, and PepsiCo to cut ties with the team unless it changed its name. FedEx has asked the team to change its name.
