The Kansas City Chiefs were heavy favorites going into today’s game against the Carolina Panthers. However, Carolina had other plans and made this one a nailbiter till the end. But, Kansas City managed to escape with their eighth win of the season after holding on to beat the Panthers 33-31.
The New York Jets had little hope going into this week to grab their first win finally. That sliver of hope was lost by halftime against the Kansas City Chiefs as the reigning Super Bowl champions handled the Jets with ease in this one.
Two of the biggest arms in football, Josh Allen and reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes, face off for the first time. Both teams are coming off tough losses caused by lackluster defensive performances.
Projected by many as the potential game of the year, two of the AFC powerhouses clashed Monday night in Baltimore as the reigning super bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs dueled it out with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Both top five offenses in the league through the first few weeks of the season, the game did not disappoint as the teams combined for 54 points and over 700 yards of total offense in a 34-20 Kansas City victory.
Looking back at last week, we successfully predicted outbursts from the Seattle Seahawks and Atlanta Falcons game stack, Mitchell Trubisky, and Anthony Miller. However, there were some that we got wrong, which will happen from time to time. Nonetheless, Week 1 is a thing of the past, we are already on to Week 2 of the NFL season.
