The Pittsburgh Pirates are the most poorly run franchise in Major League Baseball. The team hired Neal Huntington as General Manager back in 2007. They enjoyed a brief run of success from 2013-15 with three consecutive wild-card berths, but overall this front office has been a complete disaster, especially in the last three years. Huntington has firmly established himself as the worst GM in baseball.
I’m sure many baseball fans were convinced that Tyler Glasnow’s season was over when they heard he left the game Friday night with forearm tightness in his throwing arm. There were many armchair doctors on Twitter and other social media sites who had him diagnosed with all sorts of ailments, without any medical testing or knowledge of what they were talking about.
Well, hope you all had a great Jackie Robinson Day and were able to make some money last night. I hope you played Christian Yelich. I also hope you didn’t play either of the pitchers I mentioned. That might be the last time I roster Kikuchi and who knows about Cahill. Either way, the best part about MLB DFS is we get to bounce-back the next day. So, that’s exactly what we’ll do. Let’s take a look at what’s in store for tonight’s huge 13-game slate.
