Last week, I ranked the first part of the top-10 NHL general managers (ten through six). Without further ado, here is my personal ranking of the top-10 NHL GMs (five through one).
Vancouver vs. St. Louis…now we’re talking, folks. Last season, the St. Louis Blues hoisted the Stanley Cup high above their collective heads for the first time in franchise history. Years of playoff failures and shortcomings were washed away after their emphatic Game 7 triumph over the Boston Bruins.
The league’s championship teams of the past two seasons are front and center for tonight’s card. The red-hot Washington Capitals play host to the Montreal Canadiens and the St.Louis Blues visit the Columbus Blue Jackets. The other games aren’t as clear cut for me but you certainly can find some good prospects for production. Let’s dig into it once again for some Ice Picks!
Welcome to the second edition of The NHL Weekly Roundup. If you took my advice last week on what to watch you should have had a great hockey experience. Game of the week, Arizona Coyotes at the Buffalo Sabres was a fantastic game that ended up having to go all the way to a shootout!

The time has passed, and obviously, everybody is already behind that Stanley Cup Final loss. Or maybe not so much.
Thursday night is a full schedule for some puck action. All toll we have 11 games to choose from. There is bound to be a game or two you can bounce back and forth with the Thursday night NFL offering which could get out of reach with the Patriots envolved. My projections forecast Tampa Bay and Toronto, San Jose/ Chicago, St. Louis at Ottawa and Edmonton at Jersey as great games to target for offensive production. Sharpen the skates, time for Ice Picks!

And let’s not forget the emergence of goaltender Jordan Binnington and the rest of the Blues roster who were each instrumental during their unbelievable stretch run. What can the Blues produce as an encore heading into the new campaign which is set to kick off in just under four weeks time?
