As the college football season looms on the horizon, let’s take a look at some of the most talented running backs in the country. You may be surprised where some of the bigger names fall on this list. Check out my top 10 quarterbacks here.
Watching Justin Herbert made me feel like I was already scouting a professional. He has all of the intangibles that a good NFL quarterback is supposed to have, and his decision to return to Oregon just shows that he wants to improve even more to ensure that he’s ready for the NFL. Herbert has the body of a pocket passer, but don’t let that fool you. The man can still run when he needs to escape trouble. He’s the complete package of arm strength, accuracy, and the ability to run. This is my third year scouting, and I can safely say that Herbert is one of the most well-rounded prospects that I’ve scouted.

In December I compiled a power ranking for the power five conferences of college football and now I’ll be taking a crack at college basketball. The NCAA’s power five conferences remain the same in Division 1 basketball, but unlike football, non-power five teams are still legitimate threats to claim the national championship.
The SEC has been the top destination for college football recruits for the past decade. This year is no different.
