With the impending start of a brand new NHL season, the Anaheim Ducks are one of hockey’s most fascinating teams. Long gone are good, old days, as the club is right smack in the middle of a roster overhaul. As we look ahead to 2020-21, here are three burning questions facing the Ducks franchise.
Welcome to the third edition of the NHL Weekly Roundup. Well, John Tavares is back! In Tavares’ second game back for the Toronto Maple Leafs, the star forward scored the game-winning overtime goal against the Vegas Golden Knights. Last week’s team on the rise, the St Louis Blues, stayed hot winning all three of their matches for the week, and if you got the chance to watch my game of the week you enjoyed a great one with the Boston Bruins beating the Pittsburg Penguins 6-4. Sadly though I’m not always going to be right, the Buffalo Sabres continued slipping as they lost both of their games this past week. In news unrelated to my last article, congratulations to Anaheim Ducks veteran Ryan Getzlaf on his 1,000th game played! Now let’s get into our stars of the week.
