The 2020 season had many ups and downs for the Los Angeles Rams. They were able to make it to the playoffs with a 10-6 record but lost in the divisional round to the Green Bay Packers. The defense became one of the best in the NFL led by Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey.
After five years with the franchise, the Los Angeles Rams traded Jared Goff and multiple draft picks to the Detroit Lions for Matthew Stafford. With the upgrade at quarterback, many fantasy players are excited about the Rams offense this season.
With the 2021 NFL Draft over and the schedule officially being released, it’s time for my third annual 32 part series where the top three questions will be posed for each NFL team. Here are those three questions for the Los Angeles Rams.
Multiple reports on Saturday said that the Matthew Stafford trade would be finalized before the Super Bowl. Well, the trade happened later that night. Late on Saturday night, the Detroit Lions found a trade partner for Stafford. Ultimately, it was the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams weren’t even thought of as a potential suitor until late in the process. The Rams divisional foe, the 49ers, was thought of to be the running partner for the Lions in the trade. In the end, the Rams gave a king’s ransom to the Lions for Stafford.
In a game with major playoff implications on the line for both teams, the New England Patriots (6-7) were dominated by the Los Angeles Rams (9-4). The loss exposed multiple holes in New England’s offense while solidifying the Rams as legitimate contenders this year.
With all the rescheduling from Thanksgiving and the Wednesday afternoon game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, we haven’t had Thursday night football in two weeks. However, the fantasy playoffs are here, and to kick them off, we have a rematch of Super Bowl LIII between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams.
Week 14 is the first round of playoffs for most leagues. For those that made it to this point, let’s analyze some players that could boom or bust this week, while also looking into players with very safe floors.
The Dolphins were victorious in Tua Tagovailoa’s first NFL start, despite the team’s awful offensive performance. With all the Tua hype entering the game, it was instead the Dolphins defense that carried the team to victory.
Two teams surrounded by doubts despite their hot starts to the season, the Chicago Bears traveled to Los Angeles to battle the Rams on Monday Night Football. Squandering many opportunities to mount a comeback after falling behind early, the Bears offense provided little hope to NFL fans watching on national television.
