Week 2 finds us at Heinz Field to see the Denver Broncos take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Broncos are coming into the game after losing to the Tennessee Titans, and the Steelers are riding high after beating the New York Giants in New Jersey.
Nobody expected the first Monday Night Football game to be very close between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants. However, the Giants hung in there through the majority of the first half. Both teams started sloppy on offense, but Pittsburgh’s defense had plans of their own and dominated the entire game and allowed the Steelers to cruise to victory, winning 26-16.
After a great slate of Sunday football games, Monday night football will have its traditional two games for week one. The first game is a matchup between AFC and NFC. The Pittsburgh Steelers head into the Meadowlands to take on the New York Giants. The second game will feature the Tennessee Titans going into Mile High to take on the Denver Broncos.
