The Los Angeles Clippers held Media Day for the press yesterday to showcase some of their new players in Clipper threads especially big free agent signings Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The Aftermath of the Kawhi, PG13 Moves: What’s Next for the Raptors, Thunder?

July 5th, 2019 will go down as one of the wildest days for the state of California in history. Coming off its second earthquake in as many days, the NBA’s prime summer league game between Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans verse R.J. BREAKING NEWS: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers

Early this morning, it was confirmed by Adrian Wojnarowski that Kawhi Leonard has chosen to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, spurning the rival Los Angeles Lakers and the defending champion Toronto Raptors. Later that same minute, Wojnarowski reported that the Oklahoma City Thunder are trading Paul George to L.A. for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, five first-round picks, and swap rights for two other draft picks.

First Round Playoff Preview: #3 Portland Trail Blazers vs. #6 Oklahoma City Thunder

The West was more competitive than usual. The Blazers had a great season in which they found themselves as the third seed with a record of 53-29. It’s their second straight season as the three seed, but they won four more games this year than they did in the 2017-18 season. The Oklahoma City Thunder won 49 games which placed them sixth in the conference. During the 2017-2018 season, the Thunder won one less game but were fourth in the West. Clearly, the Western Conference teams were even better than usual this season. Here’s what you can expect from each team in this series.
