As we head into Conference Championship Weekend, the fates of eight teams are hanging in the balance of what can be a very routine weekend, or a weekend full of chaotic scenarios to determine the four College Football Playoff teams.
The Oregon Ducks had a fairly successful season in 2021 but collapsed a bit near the end with losses in the PAC-12 Championship and the Alamo Bowl. Regardless, Kayvon Thibodeaux was impressive and has been since early on. The Oregon product could be taken first overall.

Every year the initial release, or every release for that matter, of the AP Poll draws controversy, and for good reason. This year’s we all assumed the worst, as we should, but the preseason poll isn’t fully terrible.
Oregon shooting guard Chris Duarte is older than most NBA prospects that will hear their name called during the 2021 NBA Draft. Duarte is going to be among those selected, though.
After splitting time at multiple positions during his career at Oregon, Aaron Zavala has played right field full-time this season. That’s neither here nor there because his ability to put the bat on the ball is what has moved him up draft boards.
Monstrosity alert! Penei Sewell is an absolute beast. He is young, athletic, and straight-up dangerous. Like Quenton Nelson coming out of Notre Dame, many think Sewell already is projected to wear a gold jacket at the end of his career.
Jevon Holland is as versatile as it gets when it comes to this defensive class. Playing boundary corner, slot corner, and strong safety for the Oregon Ducks certainly create quite a nice foundation for the next level.
