Week 2 was a tale of two different tapes for the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots, the Raiders had the upset of the week, defeating the New Orleans Saints at home. The Patriots, on the other hand, were defeated in Seattle by the Seahawks, after being cruelly denied on the goalline by the Seahawk defense. Both teams would benefit massively from this win, the Patriots need to keep pace in the AFC East with the 2-0 Buffalo Bills, and the Raiders need to keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs who are 2-0.
Despite coming up just short, New England’s offense came out firing on Sunday night against the Seahawks. Cam Newton totaled the third-most passing yards in a single game for his career, while N’Keal Harry and Julian Edelman both had career games receiving. It wasn’t all sunshine and roses for every member of the offense. While the running game wasn’t established the same way it was against Miami, Sony Michel came up short once again.
