Eddie Jones played his college basketball career at the University of Temple. Jones played under the tutelage of Head Coach John Chaney. While at Temple, Jones was the 1993-94 Atlantic-10 Player of the year and led the Owls to the Elite 8 in the NCAA tournament.
Here are my four takeaways from Wednesday’s 112-102 loss to the Boston Celtics.

Russell Westbrook and the Thunder went into a game against the Lakers looking for their 45th win, and they helped their All-World Point Guard do something truly special. The Lakers in this game were without LeBron James, so the Thunder were heavily favored, and with the Thunder at home, they were favored to win by most people.
Here are my four takeaways from the Miami Heat’s 110-105 loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday.
Brutal start
This game could’ve ended ugly. The Celtics went on a 20-4 run to start the game and led 36-17 after the first period. At one point, the Heat were down 20 points. Just like Saturday night in New York, the Heat brought themselves back into the game and cut the deficit to 12 by halftime. They even cut the lead down to three late in the fourth quarter.
The Celtics are coming off a “solid” 2-1 week, there are only five more games to go and the Celtics will look to pick up the slack in their next few games.
Here are my four takeaways from the Miami Heat’s 100-92 victory over the New York Knicks.
Here are my four takeaways from the Heat’s 105-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.
Here’s my advice to anyone who’s a fan of the Portland Trail Blazers who hasn’t had the pleasure of learning this lesson the hard way over and over again yet.
Never have hope.
The Boston Celtics are coming off a horrendous 0-4 week. I believed they would have a pretty good 3-1 week, but it definitely didn’t turn out that way. They collapsed against the Hornets and it seems like they’re going through that mood swing cycle again as the season comes to an end.
Yes, Dwyane Wade would love to finish his career in the playoffs, something Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan never got the chance to do. However, there’s another reason why Wade is eager to make the postseason; he wants the younger players to gain another playoff experience under their belt.
