Hello, and welcome back to the gambling corner. The NBA playoffs are off to a great start and so am I. We have a full slate tonight so let’s have ourselves a good time, win some money, and watch some playoff basketball.
With the series tied at two games each, Damian Lillard and Nikola Jokic gave NBA fans the game of the year. In front of a friendly crowd of 10,463 at the Ball Arena in Denver, the Nuggets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 147-140 in double overtime.
Coming into the 2020-21 NBA Season, the Golden State Warriors had low expectations. With Kevin Durant in Brooklyn and Klay Thompson out for the second straight season, the playoffs were an afterthought at the beginning of the year.
Today, we became co-commissioners of a make-believe sports league in a Cities Draft. We did a draft of cities in
I am writing this as last night’s games unfold, so we are just going to assume that we did very well. Either way, its another great day to make some picks for the NBA playoffs.
Hello again, team! It’s been a while since we have given out some picks, but after a 4-1 stretch during these playoffs and I am officially declaring my cold streak dead. Let’s keep that momentum going and win some cash as we finally start to get back to normal.

After a tight Game 1, the next game between the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks wasn’t close at all. Milwaukee came out firing from beyond the arc and pulled away early. Thanks to a historic three-point attack, the Bucks coasted past the Heat in Game 2. Miami tried to come back but the Bucks always responded with another run of their own. With the loss, Miami now trails in the series 0-2.
There was so much buzz before the New York Knicks took the floor for their Game 1 matchup against the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. But the Garden was as silent as a funeral after Atlanta’s point guard Trae Young hit the game-winning shot with 0.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
The NBA Playoffs are underway and the first round is littered with great matchups. The Memphis Grizzlies defied the odds and beat the Golden State Warriors in a single game winner takes all showdown for the rights to the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Game 1 of the Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks series was about as physical as we all expected. Unfortunately, Khris Middleton’s go-ahead basket with 0.5 seconds left sealed the deal. The Bucks now have a 1-0 series lead heading into Game 2.
