An in depth interview with Jonathan Gore, a broadcaster for both the Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals.
As Harry Caray used to say, “you can’t beat fun at the old ballpark.” That statement rings true whether you’re watching a minor league game or find yourself in the comfort of a major league cathedral. Watching the game is just part of the entertainment, though. The fans can sometimes steal the show, depending on the pace of the game.
Every year there are teams who rise to the top because of an unsung hero, a rookie stepping in, or a triumphant return from injury by a veteran. On the flip side, there are teams who are at the bottom and underachieving or simply too young and rebuilding. Here are the bottom 10 teams in the league and some bright spots that those teams can possibly build on moving forward.

Everybody knows about Giancarlo Stanton. Stanton finished his eighth season in his MLB career hitting .281 with a 1.007 OPS, but he’s better known for his 59 home runs during the season. On Aug. 19, Stanton cleared waivers, meaning he is eligible for trade. After long consideration the Miami Marlins chose four teams to talk about Stanton with, the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, and the Boston Red Sox. While each team and their fans would like to have Giancarlo Stanton, it’s important to ask one question. Would Giancarlo Stanton really be a good fit for the Red Sox?
