The Orlando Magic took a step back during the 2020-21 season after back-to-back playoff berths. It all started in “the bubble”, when Jonathan Isaac tore his meniscus, causing him to miss the entire season.
The Orlando Magic had an interesting approach to the 2020-2021 season. However, it was quickly realized that this core was just not going to be able to get it done and the Magic had a firesale at the deadline.
The Orlando Magic made the playoffs in the 2019-20 season and were hoping to continue their upward trajectory this season. After a promising 6-2 start to the season, injuries put a halt to their progress.

This division has players who want to prove themselves, but it also has players that need to live up to the hype surrounding their names in the past couple of months. I mean think about it, there are so many names that have dominated conversations that are on sup-par teams, at least when compared to years past. Trae Young, Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler, Terry Rozier, and Nikola Vucevic just to name a few!
As you probably already know, Anthony Davis is not a Laker (yet?). Mike Conley is shockingly still in Memphis. We didn’t see Beal or Kemba or Vucevic leave town. What we did see was still madness though, and Mike Fanelli and I have decided to break it down for you, trade by trade. The Markelle Fultz era in Philadelphia may be coming to an end. While the Philadelphia 76ers have publicly said that they remain committed to Fultz, and Fultz’s agent Raymond Brothers has denied reports of Fultz wanting a trade, there continues to be whispers that the Sixers may be ready to part ways from the guard. Keith Pompey of Philly.com reported over the weekend that Philadelphia could consider trading Fultz in the near future.
