It’s time to identify the 100 best players in football, beginning with Nos. 100 through 91. The series started with 21 players who will be in the 2022 version of this list.
The son of a former Pro Bowl cornerback, Patrick Surtain II is walking in his father’s footsteps as a shutdown corner. He stepped in from day one as a freshman and immediately impacted the Crimson Tide defense. Surtain is the surest thing on the defensive side of the ball going into the NFL Draft. He is very pro-ready and he looks to make a seamless transition.

After a one-yard touchdown dive by Wentz to pull Philadelphia to within two, the two-point attempt would be stopped short, allowing John Harbaugh’s team to survive and advance to 5-1 on the season.
