The Tennessee Titans just missed the playoffs last season after losing to the Indianapolis Colts in the final week 33-17. They finished the season with a record of 9-7. The Titans overcame early struggles on offense and several injuries to make a late push. Tennessee’s offensive rankings in 2018 weren’t impressive, as they were ranked 25th in total yards, 29th in passing, and 27th in points. They then lost their offensive coordinator this offseason when Matt Lafleur signed on to be the next Green Bay Packers head coach. Mike Vrabel, promoted tight ends assistant Arthur Smith to fill the vacated position.
Linemen, linemen, and more linemen. The Titans know what they need to focus on in the draft.
Following Matt LaFleur’s departure to Green Bay, the Tennessee Titans have promoted hard-working tight ends coach Arthur Smith to the team’s offensive coordinator position.
Here we are. It’s the final week of the fantasy regular season. This season has come and gone in the blink of an eye and sadly it will be the end of the line for some of us. For others, this week means everything. Win or go home. In or out. Hopefully, last week’s options brought you closer to the playoffs and hopefully this week’s options lock you into the playoff picture. Let’s check out those options from last week and then look ahead to Week 13.
Marcus Mariota sustained a re-injury to his ulnar nerve in his throwing arm on Sunday. This occurred when he fell onto the elbow. Basically, he experienced a contusion to the ulnar nerve, funny bone, which resulted in recurrence of the numbness and tingling in his throwing arm.
Week 11 will offer some new names to the streaming conversation of fantasy football. Streaming has been tough this year as most people who wanted to stream a quarterback every week probably settled on keeping their successful streamer long term like Mitch Trubisky, Jared Goff, and maybe even Andy Dalton to name a few. The tight end landscape has been brutal all year and with key injuries, more and more tight ends are surpassing the 50% owned percentage making them ineligible to be streamed.
We are officially one month away from the fantasy playoffs so it is time to get in those waiver wire pickups and make those trades that are going to launch your team into the playoffs with a vengeance. There are still some high profile players available that need to be scooped up this week so do not miss out on what could be your last opportunity to add some weekly starters. The following waiver wire adds reflect a $100 Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB).
Marcus Mariota led the Tennessee Titans to the divisional round in the playoffs last year. The Titans showed some potential. Can they build on it or will they falter under the pressure of high expectations?
Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis are set to lead the Tennessee Titans backfield in 2018. Is this a true 1A, 1B situation or is Henry primed to take the lead and run away with it?
