Without further ado, here are the Top 70-61 players for the 2023-24 season.
In the 2020-2021 NBA season, the New Orleans Pelicans finished the season with a 31-41 record for 11th in the Western Conference. Former No. 1 pick, Zion Williamson led the Pelicans and was named a first-time all-star.
During the month of June, we will be ranking the top 10 NBA players at each position. These rankings will be based only on the 2020-21 regular season and will not include any injured players.
This is not the way the Miami Heat wanted to play. The Memphis Grizzlies had their way on the offensive end all game long. Miami’s defense had no answer for the Grizzlies’ guard penetration and three-point barrage. Memphis finished the game with a total of 124 points, which is not good. Tuesday’s loss ends the Heat’s four-game win streak. Miami is now 26-25 for the season.
For the month of June, Prime Time Sports Talk will be ranking the top 10 NBA players at each position. These rankings will be solely based on the portion of the season that has been played before the work stoppage and will not include any injured players.
At the deadline, the Memphis Grizzlies’ Marc Gasol was traded to the Toronto Raptors for Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, CJ Miles, and a 2024 second-round draft pick.
As you probably already know, Anthony Davis is not a Laker (yet?). Mike Conley is shockingly still in Memphis. We didn’t see Beal or Kemba or Vucevic leave town. What we did see was still madness though, and Mike Fanelli and I have decided to break it down for you, trade by trade. This is the second part of a four-part series where we’ll go over each of the 22 trades made this week, providing commentary and our own personal grades for each team’s involvement in each move.
