Why are players like Dak Prescott worth so much now?
Marcus Smith explores the increase in quarterback contracts as Dak Prescott continues to negotiate a new deal.

Ryan Potts releases Version 2.0 of his fantasy football mock draft.
All this off-season I’ve heard about many teams getting into Super Bowl form. The Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and many others. But one team that had a good offseason and roster that I haven’t seen much of is the San Francisco 49ers. With a good original group that consists of Pro Bowl players like George Kittle, Joe Staley, DeForest Buckner, and the aging but still talented Richard Sherman and other talents like Marquise Goodwin, Matt Breida, Jerick McKinnon, Solomon Thomas, and a solid O-line, the 49ers seem poised for success. Let’s also not forget their franchise quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, their crown jewel. The 49ers added to this impressive group by bringing in Kwon Alexander, Tevin Coleman, and Jason Verrett and trading for defensive end, Dee Ford. The 49ers have, probably, one of the most well-rounded groups and it would be a shock to me if they missed the playoffs.
There are many reasons to be excited about rookie quarterback Jarrett Stidham, writes Grayson Pinney.
Following the NFL Combine, Kieth Domon releases a mock draft for the San Francisco 49ers.
Just like every season, NFL teams will take on ten non-divisional opponents during the regular season, in addition to their divisional opponents. Griffin Clark previews these matchups even though there are hundreds of days before this upcoming season begins.
“It could be in the first round, or it could be in the seventh round,” writes Grayson Pinney. “But make no mistake. The New England Patriots will be looking for their future quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft.” Could that quarterback be Will Grier?
Dante Pettis was one of the bright points of the 49ers’ 2018 season, and brings optimism going forward. Jason Aponte breaks down his season and his film.
The 49ers know why they suck. That isn’t necessarily a problem.
2018 was not the year 49er fans thought it would be. A potential playoff berth was in the discussion, not a 4-12 season that would be good enough for the second-worst record in the league. But if you are going to understand 2018, we will have to hope into the old DeLorean and head back towards the end of 2017.
When you decide you are going to become a fantasy football analysis it is fun when you get to celebrate your takes. For example, it has been well documented that I prefer Adam Thielen over Stefon Diggs before the season started.
Jay Ajayi, Jerick McKinnon, Jimmy Garoppolo, Keanu Neal, Derrius Guice, William Hayes, and Jeremy Hill, headline the list of NFL feature players who have been bitten by the ACL injury bug that has driven football fans crazy. Jay Ajayi became the 39th reported ACL injury since March 2018. Everyone is discussing the epidemic of ACL injuries but in actuality, the numbers haven’t changed by a statistically significant amount since detailed injury statistics for all NFL teams started to be compiled during the 2000-2001 season. Typically every NFL team experiences 1.5 ACL injuries per NFL season each year.
