The lone IndyCar double header weekend finally arrived, not in Detroit, but rather at Iowa this year. Afterward, Gateway is the lone oval left on the schedule, so this wasn’t the worst time to get going for some of the more oval-oriented drivers.

What is arguably the second biggest race of the year in IndyCar returned to its rightful April spot this weekend. That of course is the Grand Prix of Long Beach, one of the best street course circuits anywhere in the world.
IndyCar resumed after nearly a month off earlier today at Texas. An event that may be the last the track hosts for IndyCar for some time as well.
