In order to return to the pinnacle in the NFL, there will be many important offseason decisions in order to keep the Bengals’ nucleus intact, while adding pieces to put them over the top.
Coming off of a 4-11-1 campaign in 2020, the Cincinnati Bengals enter the 2021 season with playoff expectations in the third year under Zac Taylor. With Joe Burrow back at full health coming back from his season-ending injury, the Bengals come in ranked 21st in the power rankings, hopeful to make the playoffs, or else Taylor’s time could be up in Cincinnati.
The 2020 Cincinnati Bengals had a season to forget. The highly anticipated offense fell flat for a multitude of reasons and had fans screaming for multiple coaches’ heads on a platter.
After another disappointing season that saw the Bengals start 4-1 just to end up 6-10. The Cincinnati Bengals finally moved on from Marvin Lewis after a long tenure that saw 0 playoff wins in 15 years.
