NBA Transactions: The 2022 Prodigal Sons
With so many NBA trades and movements, there is no way to tell what the future holds.

What a year for the Phoenix Suns. Although it was a disappointing finish, getting to the NBA Finals was a huge deal.
I don’t think there’s ever been a time where you could ever put the Denver Nuggets into the conversation for winning the trade deadline. Well, this year, they are firmly in that conversation, if not the front runner.
The Brooklyn Nets are one of the hottest teams in the NBA. They went 10-4 in the month of February and head coach, Steve Nash, won the coach of the month award. Let’s take a look at three players who they could pursue before the deadline.
I have heard people discussing if Luke Walton should be fired and Mark Jackson or Jason Kidd hired to coach the Los Angeles Lakers. Let me start by saying this, the only coach who doesn’t have a coaching job in the NBA now, that should be considered to take over Luke Walton’s job, is Stan Van Gundy. The reason why I believe Van Gundy should have a job as a coach is that in the twelve seasons he was a coach, he had a 523-384 record, and he is born in California. So what better than to coach a team you grew up watching and hearing about constantly?
The Los Angeles Lakers started last week off on a strong note, defeating the Mavericks in Dallas, 107-97. Then they defeated the Detroit Pistons in LA, 113-100, with Kyle Kuzma scoring 41 points in 29 minutes. They hit a roadblock in Utah, losing that game, 113-95. On Sunday night, they hosted the Cleveland Cavaliers; this game should have been a win, but, the Lakers lost this game, 101-95. They finished the week off with a 2-2 record. It should’ve very well been a 3-1 record after taking care of business in Dallas and against the Pistons.
A look back on the Los Angeles Lakers dismantling of the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. Look out Western Conference. They are hitting their stride and should get Rondo back in a few weeks.
