Part One of a new ten-part series. We’ll look at past games that are famous for one play, and in this article, we’ll go over the botched snap that Tony Romo created in the 2006 NFC Wild Card Game.
The 2018 season was like night and day for the Dallas Cowboys. After starting the season 3-4, the Cowboys traded for Oakland Raiders’ wide receiver Amari Cooper and the whole season turned around. With Cooper on the roster, the Cowboys won seven of their last nine games and took home the NFC East title for the second time in three years. After winning their home playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks, 24-22, the Cowboys lost to the Los Angeles Rams 30-22 in the divisional round.
The Cowboys Legend and future Pro Football HOF’er has decided to hang up his broadcasting mic for football cleats. The Cowboys all-time leader in Receiving Yards and Receptions will return for a 16th season with the Cowboys.
Jason Witten announced he in un-retiring and leaving the broadcast booth: his passion for football brings him back to the playing field for the Cowboys.
Alabama’s Irv Smith, Jr. is a clean prospect, and it won’t take long for him to become a top-tier tight end at the next level.
The Cowboys’ offense has not looked good through three weeks of the season. Losing Dez Bryant and Jason Witten hurt and the O-line is banged up, but there may be an underlying issue with America’s Team that no one is addressing.
The Cowboys dealt with injuries to starting linebacker Sean Lee, a 6-game suspension to starting RB Ezekiel Elliot, and a 4-game suspension to DT/DE David Irving. With so much that happened last season, they will look to put 2017 behind them and move forward to get this team over the hump this upcoming season.
