Well, the All-Star festivities are over, with the AL winning for the seventh year in a row, 4-3, and Mets’ Pete Alonso going home the winner of the home run derby. Now as we head into the second half tonight with a makeup game between the Astros and Rangers, let’s hand out our midseason awards.

We have a seven-game slate on the docket for Thursday night. A quick glance over at ESPN’s Power Rankings as of May 27th brings to light of a few things. The Minnesota Twins appear to be for real as they are right there with heavyweights Houston Astros and L.A. Dodgers at the top. The Oakland Athletics have kicked it up a notch with a lengthy winning streak of late and have bumped up the ranks significantly. The Cleveland Indians, due to injuries and a thinner depth chart, are struggling, while the Atlanta Braves have really turned it on of late winning 12 of their last 18 games. DraftKings has got seven games for the main slate so let’s build some lineups!
Week eight is here and some fresh power-rankings are out. This is the first installment of The Scorecrow’s top 10 power rankings. There has been some teams that have been consistent, some teams that have been disappointing, and some really surprising teams. So let’s break down the top 10.
When you think of Dodgers pitching, you think of Clayton Kershaw and Walker Buehler.
The Los Angeles Dodgers were only able to manage one win against the Cubs in Chicago. The Pittsburgh Pirates got swept by the Arizona Diamondbacks in Pittsburgh. The Dodgers have a record of 16-11, and the Pirates have a record of 12-11. Let’s take a look at the matchup for this weekend between the Dodgers and the Pirates.
Opening Day has finally arrived. The Los Angeles Dodgers are starting there season at home against there divisional rivals, the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Later today we will witness the beginning of the NLDS between the Atlanta Braves and the LA Dodgers. This could turn into a very quick series’ if adjustments haven’t been made. Let’s take a dive, shall we?
