The Minnesota Wild have locked up their backup goaltender as the team announced today that they have signed Alex Stalock to a three-year extension worth $2.355 million. The contract will keep Stalock in a Wild jersey through the 2021-2022 season, and pay him $950,000 in 2019-20, $700,000 in 2020-21, and $750,000 in 2021-22.
The first big deal of the Trade Deadline season went down tonight as it was announced that the Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired defenseman Jake Muzzin from the Los Angeles Kings. In exchange, the Kings acquire right winger Carl Grundstrom, rights to defenseman Sean Durzi, and a first-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft.

Currently, the Sharks find themselves on a 7-game winning streak after taking down one of the hottest team in the NHL, the Pittsburgh Penguins.
We have the first big deal of this calendar year. Yesterday, the Anaheim Ducks, currently on an 11-game losing skid, swapped forwards with the Dallas Stars. Andrew Cogliano is headed to Dallas and Devin Shore has headed the other direction to California. The deal is a one-for-one (sorry if you are an Oilers fan reading this and we brought you bad memories with that quote).

A couple of the usual suspects headline our slate along with a couple skaters on the same team. Take a look at the values and stacks as well to cash in on a busy night in the NHL.
Not everything has been positive for Patrik Laine in his third season with the Winnipeg Jets. Laine was selected as the second pick overall in the 2016 NHL Draft and has been one of the main stars in the League even though he is still just 20 years old. But this season, it is not a smooth one so far for the Finnish killer.
