Our picks series continues with another big night around the NHL. Last time out we went 1-1 and now sit at a respectable 6-4. Tonight, we get a bit “chalk-y” with our picks.

Over the past few years, Trent Frederic has shuffled in and out of the Bruins lineup. While the season is only a week old, Frederic is making the most of his latest opportunity.

We head into another week of gambling coming off a sweep Thursday to bring our record to 5-3. Tuesday’s card is absolutely jam-packed with 13 games. For this edition, the focus is on the ultra-competitive East Division.

As the second week of hockey comes to an end, things aren’t looking too great for the New York Rangers. Their record stands at 1-3, and they currently stand at three points overall, which makes them tied for last in the Massmutual East Division with the Buffalo Sabres. Despite playing much better in this week’s games and having more shots on goal than their opponents, the Rangers came up short both times, losing by one goal to both the New Jersey Devils and the Pittsburg Penguins.

At the trade deadline last year, the Boston Bruins biggest moves were acquiring Ondrej Kase and Nick Ritchie. The duo was expected to improve the secondary scoring but failed to make an impact. So far, in 2021, Kase has yet to record a point and is currently dealing with an upper-body injury.

Welcome back to Ice Picks. Saturday we took a bite of some humble pie as we missed on both of our selections to even out our season record to 2-2. Expect some ebbs and flows throughout the year. A good goal is to try to hit on 55-60 percent of selections. Just as important is to try to stay as even-keeled as possible. With a good mindset in tack let’s tackle some Ice Picks for Tuesday’s eight-game slate.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, there’s no doubt hockey is back. For New York Rangers fans, it’s almost business as usual, with a slow start and inconsistent play from the team.

Our opening night picks were a success as we hit on both of our selections. Saturday’s games feature a lot of repeat matches which will be a theme all season long. Tonight’s featured games include teams clashing for a second consecutive time. Let’s dig right into it and make some Ice Picks.

With the start of the 2020-21 NHL campaign less than two weeks away in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, hockey fans from coast to coast are gearing up for what promises to be an unforgettable 56-game season for the ages. Without further ado, here are three compelling storylines to keep an eye on ahead of the upcoming National Hockey League season.

Very soon NHLβs 104th season will be underway, and fans are anxiously awaiting another great year of professional hockey. The recently founded Las Vegas Golden Knights have a stacked team full of new and old talent which is bound to position them for success.

After an impressive showing last year under head coach Alain Vigneault, the Philadelphia Flyers will enter the 2020-21 season with high expectations. With the start of the NHL season just under three weeks away, letβs take a closer look at three burning questions facing the Flyers franchise.

With the impending start of a brand new NHL season, the Anaheim Ducks are one of hockeyβs most fascinating teams. Long gone are good, old days, as the club is right smack in the middle of a roster overhaul. As we look ahead to 2020-21, here are three burning questions facing the Ducks franchise.
