The New York Mets may have one of the more underrated farm systems in the league.
New York still has a deep system that includes top-30 prospect Francisco Alvarez and three more top-100s in Ronny Mauricio, Brett Baty, and Matt Allan. The Mets also have Mark Vientos and J.T. Ginn in the wings.
The New York Mets farm system is right around the middle of the pack in terms of depth. They have a chance to shoot up in the prospect rankings with some breakout seasons. Here are their current top five prospects which includes three solid bats and two arms.
