Expectations were not high for the Atlanta Falcons heading into the 2021 season. This is a team that had just fired its head coach and general manager and was heading in a new direction.
Brock Purdy is a name that has been known across college football for the past four years. Purdy has been the starting quarterback at Iowa State since October of 2018 and is the definition of an experienced quarterback. Being a good college starter has taken Purdy a long way, but we’ll see if his game can translate to the NFL.
With Week 18 of the NFL season in the books, it is time to look at the best performers at each position from last week. It should be a mix of usual suspects and random one-game wonders. With that said, let’s look at the best 11 offensive players and best 11 defensive players from Week 18.
The New Orleans Saints started off the season 5-2. However, the season turned ugly after that, and despite a late-season push, they missed the playoffs. Let’s take a look back at 2021.
