The Milwaukee Bucks have finally won their first NBA championship since they took a chance on Giannis Antetokounmpo with the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. That skinny basketball player at the time had to go through failure multiple times before getting to the top of the mountain. He also had to do it while people tried to drag him down.
The Atlanta Hawks second-round series went seven games. After losing Game 6 at home, Trae Young took the Hawks into Philadelphia and led his team to victory. Young was 5-23 in the game but he recorded 11 assists and scored 10 points in the fourth quarter. Kevin Huerter also chipped in with 27 points and the Hawks shocked the world by eliminating the top-seeded 76ers. The 76ers may have been the top seed but the Bucks are the better team. With Antetokounmpo, Holiday, and Middleton, the Bucks have three legit 20 points per game scorers. It is going to take a collective team effort for the Hawks to eliminate the Bucks. Young will not beat them alone. John Collins, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Danilo Gallinari, Lou Williams, and Huerter all have to take their game to another level this series.
After a tight Game 1, the next game between the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks wasn’t close at all. Milwaukee came out firing from beyond the arc and pulled away early. Thanks to a historic three-point attack, the Bucks coasted past the Heat in Game 2. Miami tried to come back but the Bucks always responded with another run of their own. With the loss, Miami now trails in the series 0-2.
