The NFL was hoping for a stronger class in the 2022 class than they did in 2021. Unfortunately, that may not be the case. While there are two standouts in Demarvin Leal and Jordan Davis, there is a significant drop after those two. Now, Davis sets his sights on the NFL Draft, where he could be picked within the top 20 picks.
The Carolina Panthers enter the 2021 season with some high expectations. In an evolving NFC South, some have playoff expectations for Matt Rhule and company, coming off a 5-11 campaign in the 2020 season. The Panthers come in ranked 22nd in these power rankings.
After a few short weeks of NFL gameplay, an assessment on rookie players can be made. While fans shouldn’t overreact to the few weeks of football, there is evidence to show which rookies are legit and which are going to struggle.
Week 3 of the National Football League saw a nearly even balance among standout rookie performances. Many offensive and defensive players had strong performances as the rookies started to get acclimated to the NFL level’s speed and precision.
