The new Associated Press Top 25 was released ahead of week two and there are some interesting things to note about where ranked teams sit.

The top High School recruit in the nation has opted for the NBA/G League professional pathway, bypassing a college career entirely:

Paul DeAngelis gives his latest predictions for the NCAA Tournament bracket before next Sunday’s selection.

Paul DeAngelis gives his list of draft targets for the Boston Celtics, who have three first-round picks in 2020.

The UC Bearcats controlled overtime to take down Memphis.

With Eric Musselman, Arkansas is rediscovering their path to glory.

Celeste Sabin looks back on a historic Saturday night in which the Clemson Tigers broke a 59-game losing streak in Chapel Hill.
I took a casual poll on whether or not college athletes should be paid or compensated when their respective university uses their image or likeness. The results were not as I expected. Out of about 100 people who responded, 72 of them said that college athletes should not be paid. This sample included people who had played and who were passionate about college athletics, people who were recently out of college and people who have been graduated for a long time. I personally voted that they should be compensated for their image being used for marketing or recruiting and in a way, they are with scholarships. But we all know that scholarships can only help so much.
On Saturday it was announced that Ja Morant will undergo a right knee arthroscopic procedure to remove loose bodies from his knee. This procedure is scheduled for Monday morning. I’m sure this news had a lot of NBA fans worried about the prospect who is expected to be picked close to the top of the upcoming NBA draft.

And then there were two. After all the madness, we are finally ready to crown a champion. Virginia and Texas Tech will play tonight at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN.

And then there were eight.
We’ve made it halfway through this year’s March Madness, and there are many more defining moments left to come in the tournament before someone gets to cut down the net in Minneapolis.
March Madness resumes tonight, with the Sweet 16 taking place across the country as the NCAA tournament edges toward its business end. Here’s a brief outlook for all eight encounters, as teams look to secure their place in this weekend’s Elite Eight.
