The NFL season has officially concluded. It is now time to give out player awards.
After a 3-0 start last year, the Carolina Panthers stumbled the rest of the way to a 5-12 record.
Entering the 2021 season, the Carolina Panthers were a dark horse playoff team. Behind second-year coach Matt Rhule and a new quarterback, many expected the Panthers to compete for a playoff spot. Unfortunately, after that 3-0 start, the Panthers lost 12 of the next 14 to end the train wreck of a season at 5-12.
As we now enter the third week of the 2021 NFL season, some teams have done a good job of getting a fast start. A few select teams so far have played very impressive football in their first two games. For the winless teams, they will have to win this week to keep their playoff chances alive at all.
It’s time to continue identifying the 100 best players in football. Nos. 100 through 91 were discussed in the previous installment, and the series started with 21 players who will be in the 2022 version of this list.

Week six has come and gone and we saw another batch of impressive rookie performances. This week was a rather defensive heavy week with a few standouts of the offensive side with one rookie quarterback making NFL history. Let’s get right into the rankings starting, as always, with a couple of honorable mentions.
Week five was not nice to the IDP report last week. Whether it was injuries or underperformance not many guys came up big on defense this week that wasn’t in the top three tiers. It looked like Clay Matthews was off to a hot start, but a broken jaw put that to a halt. My sleeper Todd Davis had a good game and Eric Weddle had a busy day. Unfortunately, the rest of the gang for my special first quarter addition came up short. The IDP game can be a mean beast if your guys don’t get the consistency and snaps to make a play or get those points tallied.
Another week brings us another set of rookie rankings as we saw a lot of defensive players put up impressive individual performances. While some names find their way back to the top of the leaderboard, several offensive names who got off to hot starts have continued to simmer as the season progresses. Let’s get right into the rankings starting, as always, with a couple of honorable mentions.
