Following Wednesday’s Game 2 victory by the Tampa Bay Rays, the 2020 World Series currently stands at a tie, 1-1. The Los Angeles Dodgers are still in pursuit of their first World Series title in 32 years; meanwhile, the Rays are chasing their first championship.
When the teams with the best record in both the American and National Leagues make it to the World Series, you know that the matchups and games will come with a ton of hype.
And then there were two. After a couple of Game 7’s, we finally have the Tampa Bay Rays and the Los Angeles Dodgers set to battle for the Commissioner’s Trophy starting on Tuesday, October 20. Let’s take a look back on both Championship Series and see how we got here.

And yet, they are now a series win away from their third World Series appearance in four years.
One side of the American League Division Series pits two AL East rivals against each other. After they swept their respective Wild Card rounds, the fifth-seeded New York Yankees and first-seeded Tampa Bay Rays meet in the mutual site of Petco Park in San Diego.
The American League kicks off the second round of playoffs today as the Houston Astros take on the Oakland A’s at 4:07 p.m. ET and the New York Yankees get ready to face the Tampa Bay Rays at 8:07 p.m. ET. Now let’s see if we can make some money today in MLB DFS: ALDS Game 1.
