We are now just about two weeks away from the opening gate drop of this year’s U.S. Motocross Season. The 250 field that was ravaged by injuries in Monster Energy Supercross should be back up to full strength by then.
Round two in Atlanta for Supercross would again provide some wild results and great racing. Now there have been four different winners in this stint with a round to go. With title races nearing their conclusions, things were most certainly heated up in Hotlanta.
For the first time since 2000, Supercross was running in a non-stadium environment at a venue that is not Daytona International Speedway. Despite some morning rain and slick track early on, The Atlanta Motor Speedway infield course proved to be one of the best tracks of the entire season.
