After a long and grueling NFL regular season and postseason, the 2022 campaign concludes with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII. In addition to the on-field product, the Super Bowl presents an excellent opportunity to throw some money down to further add to your viewing pleasure. So without further ado, let’s meet our two betting plays sure to win you some money on Sunday evening.

Best Bet # 1: UNDER 51.0 (-110)

After opening at around 49.5, the total has now increased to 51.0, and that’s where I pounced. Although this game features two of the best QBs in the game in Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts, in addition to the vast array of weapons on both sides, I think we may be in for a fairly close game that sees more stops on defense than most would expect.

My advice would be to keep your eye on the total and see what prospective markets and sportsbooks are projected prior to 6:40 pm on Sunday before placing your bet. In the meantime, I’m inclined to lean towards the under, especially with a total over 50. So ride with the under in this one.

Best Bet # 2: Kenneth Gainwell OVER 11.5 Receiving Yards (-110)

One of my favorite prop bets ahead of the Super Bowl appears in the form of Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell. After a fairly quiet regular season, Gainwell has taken his game to a whole new level in the playoffs averaging 14.5 touches and 97.5 yards, much to the joy of Eagles fans across America.

Since Week 16, Gainwell has led Philadelphia in YAC per reception and has become an integral (and somewhat unexpected) part of the high-flying Philly offense. This one looks like an absolute no-brainer for me, given how well this kid has been playing. Lock in this one as you can, and enjoy the game, football fans!
