  • Titles Records

Do you know the team with the most Super Bowl victories? That’s the Steelers and the Patriots. They have six wins each.

  • Most Failures

This record is also shared by two teams. The teams with the most failures in the history of the Super Bowl are the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos. Both have five losses each.

  • Food and Ads

Records show that Americans consume tons of food and drinks on Super Bowl Sundays. A recent survey claims that over 1.42 billion chicken wings are expected to be consumed during the 2022 Super Bowl

What may blow up your mind is the amount spent on commercials. The 30-seconds ad you see near Hollywood and Vine, showing the Vince Lombardi Trophy and other highlights of past games, was sold for $6.5 million. According to Wall Street, the amount is one million dollars more than the cost of the 2021 Super Bowl ad.

  • Los Angeles and the Super Bowl

As you already know, Los Angeles will host the super bowl this season. The city of entertainment and casinos will be hosting the game for the first time after 29 years, but it prides itself on hosting major matches in NFL history.

The 1967 game, where the Green Bay Packers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs, was held in Los Angeles. The 17-0 game of the Miami Dolphins in 1972 was also played in LA. The City also holds the record of hosting the largest audience in Super Bowl history with the 103,985 fans who came to the Rose Bowl to watch the Los Angeles Rams game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl XIV.

  • Financial Rewards

All of the players participating in the 2022 Super Bowl will get huge payments. If a player is part of the winning team, he’ll get $150,000, and a player on the losing team will get paid $75,000. When compared to last year’s earnings, it’s a huge raise. Last season, players from the winning team earned $130,000, and those who lost got paid $65,000.

  • The Coaches

This year’s Super Bowl will feature accomplished but young coaches. Rams’ Sean McVay is 36 years old, and Zac Taylor of the Bengals is only 38. It’s the youngest coaching matchup for a major sports championship after 1970 when Scotty Bowman (36) and Harry Sinden (37) coached their teams in the Stanley Cup Finals.

  • The Teams

As you already know, this year’s event features the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams won the Championship in 2000, and we will see if the Bengals will be able to bag their first-ever trophy in history.

Final Notes

The Super Bowl is a big title that every football team wants to win. It’s arguably the most remarkable sporting accolade in America. Fans can expect to witness some of the best sporting performances they have ever seen in the Super Bowl LVI. There will be thrills, a lot of fun, and potentially some history-making performances.
